Check your spam email folder if you are not getting your email notifications for holds, items due, overdue or when downloads are ready. Your email program may be diverting these emails thinking they are spam or bulk emails.
To ensure you get these notices in your inbox, you'll need to "whitelist" the following email addresses as an approved contact:

For example, on SBCGlobal accounts:
1. Click "Mail Options."
2. Click "Filters."
3. Click "Add Filter."
4. In the top row, labeled "From header:" make sure "Contains" is selected in the pull-down menu.
5. Enter email@example.com
6. At the bottom, where it says "Move the Message To:" select "Inbox" from the pull-down menu.
7. Click the "Add Filter" button.
Then do the same for firstname.lastname@example.org
