I placed a book on hold, how will I know when it's ready to pick up? ( ready for pickup)

Answer
The Library will phone you when your hold is ready. If you don't want to receive calls, sign up for courtesy notices.
Also, check your library account:
- click "holds"
- The status of the item will say "ready for pickup" and it will show the date before which you need to pick the item up from the hold shelf
- NOTE: "In transit" means the item is being transported from one location to another but IS NOT READY for pickup
- You can see your position in the holds queue in the collapsed view:
