Q

What is an e-Card?

What is the difference between an e-Card and a full-access library card?
Asked on Jul 31, 2009  |  274 Views

A

Answer:

An e-Card is available to Contra Costa County residents only.

Apply online now (en Español) for an e-Card and get immediate access to the Library's electronic resources and place holds / request items using the online catalog.

The e-Card will not allow you to check out materials, use the Books by Mail service, or use library computers. A full-access library card is needed for these services.

Residents of California can apply for a full-access library card by visiting any one of our Community Libraries with valid ID and proof of current address.
