How do I cancel a hold?

A
Answer:

You can cancel your hold online unless it's already in transit or on the holdshelf.

1. Login to your Library account

2.  Click "holds"

3. Click the title you want to cancel

4. Click "Cancel this hold" in the blue column on the left

If the status is "intransit --> sent" please wait until the status is "holdshelf pickup by [date]" and then contact the Community Library and let staff know you don't need the item.

If you are signed up to receive courtesy notices from the Library, the email provides a link to cancel the hold.

There is no fine if you don't pickup your hold.
